SOCOTEC’s Specialty Engineering Group provides advanced engineering support for our Engineering, Testing, Inspection and Certification (ETIC) and Dispute Resolution endeavors. Our expertise in problem solving is built on the deep knowledge of our staff in a wide range of engineering and scientific disciplines. It is strengthened by broad experience in many industries and applications. We are foremost materials specialists—with understanding of materials specification, performance, aging, degradation, and failure. We are experts in metallurgy, fracture mechanics, corrosion, fatigue and creep.
Our five major areas of service—advanced analysis/fitness-for-service, root cause failure & materials analysis, non-destructive engineering & testing, engineering design consulting and commissioning—are dedicated to ensuring the integrity of the assets of the built environment—infrastructure, buildings, facilities and their machinery. We can combine the service areas to provide a complete solution to meet our clients’ needs.
